Welcome

Groundwater professional, or simply interested by the topic, come and join our organization!

About IAH Belgium

The Belgian Chapter of IAH provides a platform for people working in the fields of groundwater in Belgium, for networking and professional interchange.

The IAH Belgium Council initiates each year a General Assembly, followed by a talk by a national or international expert, and a Study Day on a trendy topic, with conferences in the morning and a field trip in the afternoon. Evening classes are also organized.

About IAH

The International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) is a scientific and educational charitable organisation for scientists, engineers, water managers and other professionals working in the fields of groundwater resource planning, management and protection.

IAH’s mission is to further the understanding, wise use and protection of groundwater resources throughout the world. IAH endeavours to raise awareness of groundwater issues and work with national and international agencies to promote the use of groundwater to ensure ready access to safe drinking water. World-wide efforts towards IAH’s objectives are made by around 4000 members, National Chapters, topic/science-based international Commissions and Networks, global Council team members and UK-based Secretariat.
